Public Speaking · A personal interest

More than a speech.

I enjoy sharing stories, meeting people, and learning from different generations and cultures. Toastmasters is one of the places where I practice—and make new friends.

A familiar welcome, in a new place.

I have visited Toastmasters meetings in China and South Korea to make friends and exchange ideas. I have also taken part in speech contests and advanced to later rounds.

Beyond the club, I have joined parent–child learning activities at kindergarten with my own children and their classmates. These are another chance to connect and share in their curiosity.

A club where generations meet.

At Red Hill Toastmasters Club, around 20 members—from university students to retirees in their sixties—learn together. I have supported the community in three volunteer roles.

Club President
Oversaw the club's overall direction and coordinated the officer team.
Vice President Education
Focused on meeting quality and planned members' education and training.
Area Director
Connected clubs' needs and helped them support one another.

Something we built together.

During my term as President, Red Hill Toastmasters Club earned Distinguished Club recognition. I am proud of the part I played—and of the members and officers who made it possible.
